In Transatlantic Council, there is no program or activity more important that our Round-up. Recruiting is a year round effort, but how we begin the new program year sets the tone for the year. In a good year, we will only lose 25% to 33% of our youth and leaders. Many times, we will lose 50% to 75% of our youth and leaders. If we are to maintain quality programs, those of us who remain must work to rebuild our units with enthusiastic youth and leaders.

The resources on this page are designed to help you plan an effective recruiting drive, school night program. If you have materials that have worked well for you locally, please share them with us by contacting Vince Cozzone

We will mail out packets to each Pack, Troop, and Crew in mid to late July with applications, flyers, program helps (for Packs), program notebooks, program planning wall calendars. Below is information that is already available to plan a successful pack round up.

Tiger Cub Uniform Change

Effective 1 August 2004, the official Tiger Cub uniform will be the complete blue Cub Scout uniform with identifiable and appropriate Tiger Cub insignia. This change is in line with our continuing efforts to promote Tiger Cubs as an integral part of a Cub Scout Pack. Tigers will have their own belt, neckerchief, and hat. Order your supplies from our Scout Shop.
