Managing Your Unit Finances

The Trail's End Consumer Internet Popcorn Ordering Program

This program is designed to provide your unit with additional profit from Popcorn Sales throughout the year. Your consumers can log on to www.orderpopcorn.com and purchase popcorn with a credit card. The product is shipped directly from Trail's End to the consumer and your unit and Scouts receive credit for the Sale.

To enter the site and view the products, use your unit's Order Key Number, a Scout's Order Key Number, or the council Order Key Numbers which is TE8434

Transatlantic Council  will distribute 30% commission to units on all sales generated from the Consumer Internet Ordering Program on a quarterly basis.

Consumer Internet sales on www.orderpopcorn.com do not count towards the Prize Program.

As a participating unit in the Internet Ordering Program you now have the ability to: 

• Print Internet Order cards for your Unit. 
  

• Print Internet Order cards for your Scouts. Each Scout has his own unique Order Key (e.g. TE4CEU). 
  
• Have your Scouts and parents print their own order key cards online. 
  
• Review Internet sales online by time period, sales amount, earnings, and customer. 
  
• Have your Scouts and parents review Internet sales online. 
  
• Popcorn Sales System by Individual Scout
  
• Once your unit has set it up, the unique ID number is how consumer internet sales are tracked back to the Scout:

1. Go to www.trails-end.com
2. Click on "units"
3. Enter your "Username" and "Password" received from the council.
4. Click on "Scouts" tab to set up the Scouts in your unit. 
Scout's last names are not used to protect privacy.
5. System will provide each Scout with a "log-in name", "password" and unique ID number for the consumer re-order program, example: TE4CEU
6. For leaders who wish to have just one ID number for a den, the word "Den" followed by the den number may be entered instead of a Scout's name.


Printing Order Key Cards for Units 

• Log into the Popcorn Sales System at www.trails-end.com. 
  

• On the Reports menu, click "Consumer Order Cards". 
  
• Select the desired type of output format (HTML or PDF) and whether you want Scout or Unit order cards. 
  
• If needed, type the number of cards you want to print. 
  
• Click the "Generate Report" button. 
  
• Printing Order Key Cards for Scouts

For Scouts using the Internet Ordering System
Go online to www.trails-end.com.
Click on "Scouts". 
Click on the "Scout Area" Banner. 
Enter the Username & Password provided by your unit leader. 
Print a supply of Order Key cards .... they have the Scout's Order Key Number on them. 
Scouts present these cards to customers as products are delivered (or attach them to the boxes and cans) and email the number to friends and family.

Your unit and Scouts get credit when customers purchase online at OrderPopcorn.com 
Consumer Internet sales on www.orderpopcorn.com do not count towards the Prize Program.

Trails End is only able to mail to US addresses or APO/FPO addresses and is not able to provide items to international mailing addresses due to shipping costs, customs, and sales tax costs.
