Camp Freedom has a new location for 2008 and that is in Oberdachstetten in the Frankenwald. If is 19 kms from Ansbach, Germany

Camp Freedom is organized under the traditional BSA summer camp approach. All campsites are equipped with two/four person wall tents, cots, and platforms. Meals are served in our dining facility with the exception of one meal that is prepared in the campsite.  All campers, leaders, and parents should bring camping and personal equipment listed in the TAC Cub Resident Camp Leader Guide to camp. There is a central shower house, running water, and flush toilets near campsites. This site is much smaller than our previous location, so in order to support the anticipated demand, our Tigers and Wolves will sleep inside a new Scout dormitory while the Bears and Webelos will be in the camp site. They are very close to each other (Dormitory is the shower/wash house building).

The program includes archery, bb gun shooting, scoutcraft skills and games, nature, crafts and a host of group of activities that will bring a smile to Cub and leader alike.

The fee includes food, camp patch, camp T-shirt, all program materials, camp specific awards and instruction.
