 Annual Scout-A-Thon

September 1- December 1, 2013

All Scouting Units can use additional financial resources in the fall as the new program year kicks off with many new Scouts. Participate in the Transatlantic Council Scout-A-Thon to assist you with raising money for your program.

The Annual Scout-A-Thon is an opportunity for every Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venturer to participate and earn money for things like camp and activity fees.  You may participate for yourself or others in need.  Either way, it helps Scouting!  The Scout-A-Thon proceeds will help send more youth to camp and also help the Transatlantic Council to make all programs even better.

       Participants may attend as INDIVIDUALS, or as DENS, PATROLS, CREWS, PACKS, TROOPS, or POSTS.  It is suggested that TIGER CUBS participate with an adult partner.  

WHAT IS IT?

            The Scout-A-Thon is a fun way to help raise money for your unit and at the same time help support Scouting programs throughout the Council.

WHAT CAN THE UNIT DO?

First, your unit plans to take part by deciding what their Scout-A-Thon will be (e.g. bowl-a-thon, bike-a-thon, jog-a-thon, book-a-thon, etc.). 

Second, Plan a date and location to hold the event. Be sure to give yourself enough time to make sure the event is successful.

Finally, fill out the unit commitment form to begin your journey to providing a quality program in 2013-2014 scouting year!
