There are several awards and recognitions available to Scouts and Scouters who participate in international scouting activities! These awards are available through the Council Office. For any more information, please contact a member of the International Committee.

This segment has the white World scout Crest on blue background with black borders. Scouts, Ventures, and Leaders may wear this for participation in an international activity with Scouts of another nation. The activity must include at least one overnight camp out with Scouts of another nation. Webelos Scouts are also eligible.

International Activity Award


Boys and adults may wear this strip if they show their knowledge of a foreign language or the sign language for the hearing impaired by:
Carrying on a five-minute conversation in this language.
Translating a two-minute speech or address.
Writing a letter in the language. (Does not apply for sign language.)
Translating 200 words from the written word.
