Over 50 years of serving the youth of America overseas
Transatlantic Council: Boy Scouts of America
Transatlantic Council has two Council-wide opportunities for units to earn money and also help to support activities in the council. The first is selling popcorn, which is year-round. The second is the bowl-a-thon, which takes place in the fall. Information for both the 2009 fundraisers are below.
Unit Money Earning Application
A unit must submit to the Transatlantic Council, a Unit Money Earning Application prior to their fundraiser. The application is available from the Council Service Center and needs to be submitted to the District Executive at least three weeks in advance of the fundraiser.
A copy of the approved form will be mailed back to the unit. The only exception to the above application filing requirements is the council approved Bowl-A-Thon.
Do not sign any contracts with fundraising companies until your application has been approved. Occasionally the council is notified of outfits who aren't legitimate and you don't want your hard earned money lost.
